School Meals

All school meals are prepared freshly on site every day by Aspens Catering Services. They publish a three week rolling menu, enabling you to sit down with your child and decide which options they prefer. Your child can choose to have school meals some days and a packed lunch on other days. Every morning, each class takes a 'dinner register' to check whether your child is having a school meal or a packed lunch. If your child is having a meal they will be asked if they want the main meal, vegetarian option, jacket potato or a cheese, ham or tuna sandwich.

School meals are free for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. For children in Years 3 to 6, school meals cost £2.00 per meal. We request that all meals are paid for in advance, on the Monday of the week in which they are being taken.

We use an on-line payment system called SchoolMoney provided by Eduspot for the payment of dinner money and other expenses trips and music. For Parental Guidance click here and for Hints & Tips click here

Here are the things we do to try and make sure lunchtimes are happy for everyone ...

Packed Lunch

If your child chooses to bring a packed lunch to school then we ask that it contains a range of healthy and nutritious foods. Sweets, chocolate bars and fizzy drinks are not allowed. For more information on preparing a healthy lunchbox, follow the links to the right of the screen.
