Sports Premium

The Sports Premium was introduced following the London 2012 Olympic Games to enable schools to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer. The current funding level is a flat payment of £16,000 plus £10 per pupil. This should be spent on activities, training and coaching that will complement the statutory PE curriculum.

Schools are required to produce an annual report detailing how their funding has been allocated and what provision has been provided as a result. At Cherry Garden we provide a wide range of sporting activities and clubs some of which are funded by the premium. You can read our full reports below, summarising provision and outcomes for the last full academic years. This information will usually be updated by the end of August each year.
