Year 6 - Camp Photos

The campers are well settled at Hooke Court. Mr Winterburn joined them on Tuesday and witnessed them making (and launching) rockets which exploded into the Dorset sky! The afternoon saw the group kayaking and learning the art of archery. There were some children with a good aim in the archery session and a few who found it hard to stay dry during the kayaking! They reported that the food is great and they certainly weren't short of a snack or two from home. Unusually, the girls won today's room inspection with a perfect 10 score. They look forward to seeing you all on Friday but have lots more fun ahead of them before then.

Here's a selection of photos (scroll down for two short videos: of one child taking out a balloon with an arrow, the other showing one of our rockets launching).

Homework in Year 6

Each class has put together a set of expectations for homework so that children and families are clear about when it will be set, which areas it will cover and roughly how much time should be spent on it. If you have any questions about homework, please speak with your child's class teacher. Click the icon below to download the guide.
