PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

Our PTA put on a range of fundraising events across each academic year. Every parent is automatically a member of the PTA but some people choose to play an active role in the organisation of events and fundraisers.

The PTA welcomes all new parents and members to their meetings. A new committe have just been elected and they are very keen to have a list of 'willing volunteers' who would be happy to step in and help at events. If you would like to be added to this list then please contact one of our committee members or email the school office and we will pass on your details.

Our committee is made up of the following members:

Role Person
Chair Bev Burgess
Vice Chair Sharon Kaines
Secretary Jodi Jenkinson
Treasurer Trish Swanepoel

We hope to see you at an event soon!

Bags to School

Bags to School is a fundraising initiative that pays the PTA for clothes that can be re-used in developing nations. As well as raising funds for our school it also means precious resources are being re-used or recycled. To find our more about 'Bags to School' click the logo above to visit their website.

The next 'Bags to School' collection is on Wednesday 21st March 2012. Please leave your filled bags under the front canopy for collection.

The collection after this will be Wednesday 3rd October 2012.

The Giving Machine

The PTA have recently registered w’The Giving Machine’ which means that every time you shop online, with over 360 of the UK’s top

brands, they will give our school free cash donations. You don’t have to buy anything you wouldn’t normally buy, and it won’t cost you any more.

  • The Giving Machine is a ‘not for profit’ company.

  • Participating shops pay a commission for directing shoppers to them.

  • The commission is passed onto the school as a free donation.

You shop, they give – it’s that simple.
